This Chinchilla Nest Box is made of sturdy galvanized steel, powder coated in durable silver vein, it attaches to cage with wing nuts. The metal of this nest box will help your chin stay cool.

The replaceable front door is made of solid Kiln Dried Pine and has a 4" hole centered into the panel.

At first I hesitated to buy this item as the picture made it look small and I wasn't sure my very chunky floofs would fit in it. I decided to give it a try anyways and to my surprise it is a very nice size for a hideaway, and way big enough for even my chunkiest floof. I already ordered a second one as I have two, unbonded chinchillas. This is high quality, Easy to install, and I got it in the gorgeous blue color! Perfect addition to my cage, can't wait to get my second one!
